K-12 Comparative International Systems We empower the educator via training, development and technical assistance to understand the international education system to accurately evaluate credentials and make informed and accurate enrollment and placement decisions that ultimately impact graduation rates and postsecondary planning. This training is most suited for staff that is responsible for interpretation of course credit, grade placement, grade equivalency and academic advising. This hands-on training is customizable to district migration trends and can be facilitated in a one or two day format. These workshops prepare educators to provide college coaching that is culturally relevant and builds a foundation for Latinx students' aspirations to attend college or university. Educators will learn the strategies, knowledge, and vocabulary to prepare students for a robust career exploration and college going experience that removes barriers and builds the confidence required for student success and completion rates. Educators will learn strategic methods of operating on an asset based mindset to maximize student achievement. Training can be facilitated individually or as a series with each having a duration of 1-3 hours.
